Arefed 500mg Tablet

Arefed 500mg is an iron chelating drug that is indicated for chronic iron overload due to multiple blood transfusions. It does this by binding excess body iron and its elimination.

Common Uses
Repeated blood transfusion which leads to iron overload.
Patients with thalassemia who have excess iron
Chronic anemia with frequent blood transfusion.
Other iron overload conditions as recommended by a doctor
Dosage 
Follow the instructions given by your doctor.
Generally taken once a day on an empty stomach.
Use as directed by the formulation or drink with water.
Continuously monitor during treatment.
